WE NEED BOXES! These past two months, the kids have been studying the life of Moses. We are planning to view the "Prince of Egypt" as a Drive-In Movie Event on July 7 and 14th. WE NEED BIG BOXES if you have any you'd be wiling to bring on a Sunday and chuck into the check-in area for us to use. Families that need a boredom buster for their kiddos can even "customize" their ride for the event ahead of time if they wish (no SUV or conversion vans please). We would like to have about 20 boxes total just to be sure everyone has a seat-er-I mean, ride. Thank you for your help!!! Urgent prayer need for Seth Mangan: My dear Prayer Warrior Friends. The surgery that was supposed to happen last August when EVERYTHING went wrong and landed Seth in NueroICU with "innumerable strokes", is rescheduled for tomorrow morning (4/26). We are to be at GMH at 5:30 in the morning for prep. The surgery is expected to last about 5 hours. Dr Paul Davis is the carotid tumor surgeon, Dr Christopher Carston is the cardiovascular surgeon. Please, pray for Seth, the two doctors and all the surgery team. God hears our prayers. We KNOW that from the way Seth has recovered from last fall. Thank you all for your prayers. ❤️

Please choose an envelope (or 2, or 3, ...) from the wall in the café, record your name and contact information on the sign up sheet next to the child's name whose envelope you selected, then use one of the following ways to fulfill your commitment to purchasing shoes for that child: 1. Place $35 in the envelope and leave it in the offering, give it to Rob or Walker Massey, or deposit it in the church safe (in the office). Please make checks to The Mount Church with "shoe drive" in the memo line. Someone from the Haiti mission team will use your contribution to purchase a pair of shoes. 2. Purchase the shoes as described below, place the envelope INSIDE the box of new dress shoes, then return the shoes to The Mount office on Sunday morning or Wednesday evening. (It is important to keep the envelope with the pair of shoes so we can ensure that the right shoes get to the right student!) SHOE DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: 1. All shoes must be SOLID black (no white or color at all - stitching, tread nor accents). Girls shoes can have black accents (bows, flowers, leather/fabric patterns overlaid). 2. Quality brand shoes in older styles at discount stores work great - please avoid cheap shoes, they will not hold up in the rough Haitian terrain. 3. NO Mary Jane style shoes (with the strap across the top of the foot) If you have any questions please see Adison Culver or Walker Fairey Massey. The Haiti mission team will be transporting all of the shoes to orphan villages of The Hands & Feet Project when they go in July so the children will be all set for the 2017-18 school year!
